Scarcliffe Campsite is a simple greenfield site used by the District for outdoor Scouting activities, camps, and skills based experiences. The open space provides a flexible environment where young people can enjoy traditional camping, outdoor cooking, games, and learning practical Scouting skills.
The site is intentionally basic, allowing groups to create their own camping experience while developing independence, teamwork, and confidence outdoors. This remote campsite has access to a water tap, fire pit and a toilet container (Chemical Toilets).
Scarcliffe Campsite is ideal for small group camps, activity days, and back to basics Scouting experiences where the focus is on being outdoors and learning through adventure.
Maintained by volunteers, the campsite plays an important role in supporting outdoor Scouting across the District. The campsite is public access.
