The Leadership team provide leadership and management across East Scarsdale ensuring young people can access the very best opportunities in life and that they do so safely. The Leadership Team are responsible for the day to day oversight of the District. We are a friendly bunch of people and welcome people approaching us for advice, support or to give valuable feedback so we can strive to do better.

Lead Volunteer
Joshua has overall responsibility for the District. It is his role to ensure the district runs effectively and that Scouting develops in accordance with the rules and policies of The Scout Association so that young people can benefit from good quality scouting.

The Programme Teams specific area of responsibility is programme support. They lead our Programme Team and various sub teams to ensure young people are getting the very best programme opportunities.

The Support Team Leader looks after our various support sub teams which include our Campsite team.

Team 14-24 Team Leader
The Explorer and Network Section are led and managed by the 14 -24 Team Leader. Each unit has a Section Team Leader who coordinates the Team Members. The Explorer and Network units function in a similar way to the way the sections in a scout group operate except that all sections are the same age range and are managed directly at a district level.

The Volunteering and Development Team looks after the volunteer experience and journey. working with the District’s Welcome, Learning and Awards & Recognition teams to ensure everyone feels valued and supported in their roles.

District Youth Lead
The District Youth Commissioner provides young people in the district a voice at a senior level. Ensuring that 4 – 24 year olds are involved and engaged in every decision that shapes their Scouting experience.

Group Lead Volunteers
Our Group Scout Leaders manage our local groups and help the District and County Lead Volunteers in ensuring Scouting develops in accordance with the rules and policies of The Scout Association.
