Killamarsh Scout Hut serves as the District Headquarters for local Scouting, providing a practical and welcoming base for meetings, training, activities, and events.
The building includes a large main hall suitable for group sessions and activities, a kitchen for preparing refreshments and catering for events, and toilet facilities. The space is flexible and works well for leader meetings, training sessions, planning events, and District activities.
Outside, the hut has a small plot of land to the side of the building and direct access to a large neighbouring field, making it ideal for outdoor activities, games, and skills based Scouting experiences. There is also parking available on site for approximately ten cars.
Maintained by volunteers, Killamarsh Scout Hut plays an important role in supporting Scouting across the District by providing a shared space where leaders can plan, learn, and deliver great experiences for young people.
Hiring the hut
Killamarsh Scout Hut is available to hire for meetings, community groups, and small events. The main hall and kitchen facilities make it suitable for a range of activities.
